Generations

Generations

We believe that all people, the young and the old, all receive the same Holy Spirit. We believe their time is now, not some time in the future. We love their energy, their passion and their voices. We believe generations must stand together and build one another up.

Capstone Kids Movement

(3-12 years)

Kids

The Children’s Ministry desires children to encounter God, His works, and develop healthy lifestyles and relationships. We have a fantastic programme for the kids aged 3–12 years. Children stay with their parents at the start of the morning as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the service. The speaker will make it clear when and where children need to go for their programmes. If you are bring your child for the first time, you will need to register them before service.

The kids will have great fun playing games, and learning about God in a way tailored to their age group.

Kids church is split into 2 age groups:

ARK: 3-5 years

Ark is an exciting place for children, aged 3-5 years, to learn about who they are in God, who they carry and what authority has been given to them through worship, bible-based curriculum, games and craft.

CHOSEN: 6-11 years

Your child will love the worship, games, inspirational teaching & will grow in their understanding of who God is & who He is in their lives. Our goal is to help your children live their faith in a way that will influence their schools & communities, with their foundation firmly based in Christ, they can be history makers & share God’s love and grace with their friends.

Mentoring Programs

The idea is simple. We identify, equip and release people who wish to engage in a dynamic, intentional, voluntary mentoring program.

To Know God

Begin a relationship with Jesus… It was Jesus’ love for us that caused him to endure the cross. He asks us to repent of our sins and receive His forgiveness. And he now invites us to come to him, that we might begin a personal relationship with God. Accepting Jesus means believing that Jesus is the Son of God, then inviting him to guide and direct our lives. Jesus said that we must be willing to confess Him before men if we want Him to confess us before the Father (Matthew 10:32-33). Jesus also said: “He that believes and is baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:16). When we do this, we are now in Christ where all spiritual blessings are to be found.

To Grow with your church

The Bible says to not neglect meeting together (Hebrews 10:25). After you have take a decision to follow Jesus, it’s important to join a church community that loves God, loves the Bible, Spirit-filled and desires to mature in Christ. This is one of the best ways to grow in your faith and get rooted in God.

To discover your purpose

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” -Ephesians 2:10. You have a uniquely special calling on your life. He has marvellous plans set aside for you since the beginning. Find out about your identity, destiny and purpose by studying the Word of God, getting rid of past baggage and becoming equipped through fellowship and community.

To make a difference

A good measure of our spiritual health is our depth of concern for other people. The church is us: people who love Jesus serving others by praying with others, pouring coffee, and opening their homes and so much more. In this, God changes us. Serving in the local church is a vehicle to discover how we are made and how the Lord can use us. Serving provides us the opportunity to know more about how we are created: our likes and dislikes, what we can do well and what we cannot.
